Guardians of the Bays and Strathmore Park Residents Association are part of the Community Liaison Group for the Sludge Minimisation Facility. We are having regular meetings on the ongoing design and construction.
The small Puke/hillock has been removed over the last few months. This area becomes a construction zone for the Sludge Minimisation Facility. The outline plan with the final building design and colour scheme has been accepted by the council. Present works on site include piling and concrete pours. In the New Year two cranes will be constructed on site.
The next meeting of the Community Liaison Group on site will be in February 2024.
